Yes Robin, there is a $15 corkage fee. Thank you Laurent/Owner
Phone to find out ; later and shorter probably.
Good atmosphere not over crowded. Excellent Food and service.
Had the mussels meal and it was tasty.
I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how their service is always excellent and they keep the spot clean all the time. Pricing is affordable and they serve generous portions.
Nice, quiet place serving authentic French dishes at an affordable price. The owner is very hospitable and accommodating. Great for a pre-theater dinner, and there are daily specials. Great for both couples and families.
Have been here many times but decided to finally review. Good food and service. Had the steak frites, daube and mussels last time there. Steak was perfect and our 6 year old tore down the mussels. Love coming back here
Celebrated our son's birthday. Had a wonderful meal. Only thing better than the food was the server and the chef. Will definitely go back.
Met a friend here for lunch. Nice ambience. Friendly staff and very good food. Nothing fancy but satisfies.
Went here for breakfast. Eggs were perfect, potatoes were tasty, toast was a bit bland but it's refreshing to get a real pat of butter. Service was great, albeit slow since there was only one server working.
French comfort food. Execution was fantastic. Very tasty. Wine recommendations on point
The food is good, out for my expectations. The waitress is very nice, a pretty young lady, she works quick and patience. The place is like '70s style. Onion soup is very good, must try.
Very cute cafe! There are creative drinks, delicious food, and very polite service. Prices are very reasonable as well, definitely worth a visit
Food is okay. Pretty standard as far as bistro food goes. Portions are just right; not too big, but not tiny. Good price point. Great service. Wouldn't go or of my way for it, but if I were in the area, I'd go again.
Nice comfortable with a long menu of french cafe food
Great find! The food is wonderful, the wine selection is good. We had steak fries, with a Bordeaux and daube (braised beef in red wine) with a spanish rioja. Definitely recommend this place & we'll be back to try the creme brulee!
Tasty food, friendly services, good range of options
Love their salmon & several other dishes, don't order steak it's very fatty. Bathrooms are not usually clean. The owner is very gracious and accommodating, his staff not as good.
Neat little french bistro with salads, sandwiches, and entrees. The jambon buerre was great and the fries were perfectly prepared.
Steaks are well flavored, fries are seasoned to where I didn't use ketchup... service was great... good quaint atmosphere... good experience......I know I mentioned the steak but damnnnn it's good
We love this local cafe and bistro! The staff and owner could not be more accommodating and friendly, and the food is always fresh and impeccably made. During our shelter-in-place, we've resorted to ordering their food as take-out, and the transition really has been seamless! The frites are still crisp, the texture of the sole and risotto still on point, and the salads outstanding. Don't hesitate to order take-out; your meal will be as good as ever, and we will see you at the neighboring table when this whole episode is behind us.
Love this restaurant for lunch before a matinee at the Albany Twin. I particularly enjoy the $18 lunch pairing specials like Salad Nicoise with rosé pictured. The owner and staff are delightful.
This place is great for any meal. Definitely a community staple
Pleasant atmosphere filled with French comfort food and exquisite wines. The steak and fries is an absolute must, and the beignets and French vanilla ice cream can’t be missed. I wish they had some beers on tap but the wine and food won’t disappoint
Quality, service, atmosphere good.
Love this place. Owner almost always there so food is excellent! Quiche, salad and a glass of wine. Just right for a rainy weekend!
Certainly a place worth stopping by, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the cost is reasonable and it is regularly well kept here. 5 stars.
Wall painting of Paris scene, and seemed local popular brunch place. Foods are mediocre.
We eat here regularly and it's always reliably good.
Absolutely a spot worth stopping by, the food is excellent and fresh, the prices are fair and it is always neat in here. Great work.
Very good place for french food, very nice staff/owner, bathrooms are nice and clean
Adorable local spot for french "street food" and cute live music. Espresso could be better, but the staff and owner are great.
We just eat here for the first time, and while the place is cozy, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The food was authentically French and delicious. We will definitely be visiting again.
Had a fantastic experience in this spot with my girlfriend. The food came rapidly and the customer service is just fantastic. Prices are fair.
Good food, friendly staff. Affordable and not a long wait for Sunday brunch.
REAL French food at reasonable prices! I live in Paris half the year, and most of the dishes on Laurent's menu are staples in most bistros or cafés there. Except that when you eat them at Rendez-vous they will taste better than at most Paris Bistro or cafes ... because Laurent uses better quality ingredients then are usually found there. He also has excellent cooks in his kitchen. Bon appétit et à bientôt !
Really delicious, well prepared food and nice staff. One less star because one waitress was wearing a really strong sweet smelling perfume and we had to sit outside as it permeated the entire restaurant. I went to eat there another time and left because of the perfume. I and so many others are allergic to perfume PLUS mainly the nose must be able to smell fine food in order to fully enjoy it. Perfume makes many people nauseus too.Once outside we could actually smell the fine food and even the car fumes did not bother us so much. The food here is worth the ability to taste every morsel, its so good. Please ask staff to refrain from wearing perfumes and perfumy products because I want to come back and sit inside!
I’ve been going to this casual French-inspired bistro for years for consistently good moules-frites and Niçoise salad. My husband recommends their burger too. Friendly and attentive service too.
Nice evening. Good food. Ordered Steak and mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked exactly as requested. Potatoes were average, but good. Overall experience was nice and live music made it a quaint visit.
I celebrated my nomination today in this delicious restaurant. Well we enjoyed a fantastic evening and the venue was certainly the reason for that fruitful event. The crew contributed in a pleasant manner, the cooking was delicious and my buddies were extremely glad. We shall no dout come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.
We each got the omelette where you can choose up to 6 items, comes with toast (white, wheat or English muffin) & potatoes. Really good cappuccinos - thick, luscious foam! Everything was tasty & well seasoned with flavored. Excellent service.
Kind to a solo diner. House red is quite good. Pris fixe dinner at $27. Choice of starter, 5 entres, dessert. I chose the onion soup, lamb stew and crepe stuffed with apples. Yum.The owner is Parisian. He looks out for the rhythm of the course from behind the bar. He comes out to check on our experience. Delightful.
Friendly people and good food.
First time dining here. We did not have a reservation & while the place was busy we only had to wait 10min. (I recommend reservations) Thr service was great & staff was friendly. Great wine by the glass options. The decore was a bit odd for my taste but the food, oh the food was delicious. I sat where I could see the kitchen & the chef cooked many orders of muscles so I would assume those are good. We ordered the warm goat cheese salad to split & the seafood puff pastry. Then he had sole & I salmon. All of it was exceptional & don't forget the chocolate moose for dessert! Definitely will be back & recommend to friends.
This is possibly the worst French restaurant in the bay area. The rating is possibly fake and cooked up. Only reason I am giving a one star because of the friendly waitress and the decent wine they serve.Breads were cold. Stew was salty and flavorless. Most of the food came from freezers and did not flavor, texture or any culinary merit. Desert was the most pathetic experience, pastry was burnt, caramel was smelly and the whole thing was soggy.Do not go to this place even if it's inexpensive.
Great food superb french fries
Great find, good food, friendly staff and reasonably priced good wine. We will definitely be back.
Good food at a reasonable price. We particularly like the steak and frite - juicy, tender and perfectly cooked to order. We also appreciate that portions are not huge. Good place for a meal before going to the movies.
I've tried to order pick up of a particular dish numerous times and they always run out of the side that accommodates it. Wanted to give them one last chance and after showing up a few minutes late for our 9:30 reservation and they were closed. Guess I'll never get to try it.
Food is Delicious! Thank you, Laurent!
Nice little bistro, open every day
Great food and wonderful music on Tuesday nights.
